NOTE: I try to keep the cost with free shipping on small seed orders as low as possible by using first class letter mail without tracking.  It works well, but sometimes is a little slow and very occasionally they don't show up at all.  In order to be able to keep using this low cost service on Ebay, PLEASE do not open a case if you do not receive the seed order.  There is no way for me to provide tracking for an open case, and they punish me for USPS mail failures.  JUST MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY and let me know you haven't received them, and I'll resend them out for you.  Look for the seeds (unless you pay for first class package with tracking) in your regular letter mail in a white envelope with a butterfly or flower sticker on it.   AND FYI:  ANYONE WHO OPENS A CASE BEFORE CONTACTING ME WILL GET BLOCKED!!!!   Edible and medicinal, the morning glory has been used by tribal herbalists for many different ailments but most notably it's used to relieve stress and/or as a calming agent.  The delicate blooms have a toxicological profile that is similar to some anti depressant medications and tranquilizers, although much milder in effect.  So it's not recommended to be used in conjunction with any of these types of medications, or other herbs used as a sedative.  The blooms can be dried and crushed~ taken as a supplement, or used as a tea ingredient; you can eat them off the vine, added to a salad.  They can also be cooked in stir fries.  They have a mild savory flavor and are slightly crunchy. 

  This particular type of morning glory has a 3 or sometimes 5 lobed ivy shaped large leaf, and a small approximately 1.5" to 2" medium blue flower that opens only in the morning when it's sunny.   If you don't make it to the garden early, you may miss the blooms altogether!  The flowers are a favorite among the pollinators, butterflies and hummingbirds.   Grow onto a trellis or other support structure.  It will grow quickly, and may require grooming.

 Seeds were just recently harvested, in the fall/winter of 2022.  

 PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: 

      The seeds are hard, and require scuffing with an emery board, or overnight soaking. before planting.  Seedlings usually emerge within 10 days.   Plant them approx. 1/4" under the soil/medium surface as they require darkness for germination.  Keep soil moist but not wet.  Once the seedlings emerge, they prefer full sun.   Space plants at least 10" apart.  

  I do not provide tracking on the seeds unless you are buying a bulk quantity.  They will come in a small envelope, in your regular letter mail and usually takes about 3-4 days for delivery.
