THE CATALOGUE is a British trade magazine published by Rough Trade to promote independent music, particularly releases distributed by The Cartel. Some issue's of the magazine came with a flexi-disc. Editors included Richard Boon and Brenda Kelly. Some issues of the magazine are just called 'Catalogue'. Usually published monthly (with some issues combining 2 months). The magazine was available by subscription and distributed in numerous countries around the world. Issues included new releases (albums, 12" singles, 7" singles, reggae, imports, cassettes, videos and compact discs), reviews, radio spotlights, label spotlights, speaker's corner, artist profiles and numerous music ads.
