Description: This manual covers the Monarch 10" Model EE Toolmaker's & Manufacturing Lathe.   This manual is  for the earliest model EE with the round speed selector plate.   This manual is for the older style of EE lathe that has the Reliance Variable Speed drive, that is it has a motor generator unit to run a DC motor that is variable speed.  If your lathe has the round speed plate, and has the motor-generator unit, and does not use vacuum tubes for the speed control, then this should be the correct manual.  I do have a manual for EE lathes with the vacuum tube electronic speed control, and also a manual for the later solid state speed control.    It has Instructions for the Reliance V-S Drive,  Operations, Adjustments, Includes the Electrical Diagram for the Reliance V-S Drive, which was not included in the original manual and it also includes Pictorial Parts Views and Parts List. This manual was originally billed as an Operators manual, but it is rather light on operating instructions and seems to be more geared towards a parts manual.
