Similar to our Baldwin lid prop set (item # 293836580708) but also includes the solid brass mounting bracket/hinge and screws/felt.  Solid hardwood Maple 25" and 9" lid props for grand and baby grand pianos.  This is a genuine Baldwin part but can certainly be used on other pianos where the dimensions allow.  Long prop is 25" long, about 2" wide, end is round - about 3/4" in diameter. 1/8" mounting hole is about 1/2" from the end of the prop.  Short prop is 9.5" long, base is about 5/8" square and end is round - about 5/8" in diameter. 1/8" mounting hole is about 9/16" from the end of the prop.  Bracket is about 2-1/4" long x 1" wide x 1" tall and mounts with 3 screws (we've included 3 oval head brass screws - 2 #6x5/8" and 1 #6x1").

Maple parts were generally used for opaque finishes (like black and white).  Some finish sanding may be required but these parts are free from damage or defects.

If retrofitting, install so that the prop is perpendicular (approximately a 90 degree angle) to the top lid when in use.  For a pair of props this means 2 cups on the underside of the lid so either is at the proper angle when in use.  Also, be sure to pre-drill holes for the mounting screws to avoid damaging them during installation.
