Condition: New
Served during the wars of the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars and the Anglo-American War. On October 24, 1798, the Leopard captured the French private ship Apollo, commanded by Captain La Vaillant. On August 22, 1800, the Leopard captured the Clarissa. In 1812, the Leopard was stripped of its weapons and converted into a military transport. On June 28, 1814, en route from Great Britain to Quebec and carrying a contingent of 475 Royal Scots, the ship ran aground on the banks of Anticosti in thick fog and was destroyed.
We recommend this model to all fans of the sailing fleet. Like all previous models of the author Albert Drybnik, this model has the maximum level of complexity, and, accordingly, only experienced modellers can do it.
