Overview
Garmin Edge Replacement Mount that glues to the back of any Garmin Edge device to repair broken tabs. Best glued with either a type of Super Glue or two part Epoxy (Araldite).
Adhesive strength is dependant on a number of factors. Glued well these replacement mounts are stronger and more durable than the original Garmin interface. If you have doubts on the strength of your adhesive it's worth tethering your device with a lanyard just for extra security.
Material
MagCAD Mounts are 3D printed in Nylon PA12. However these are not your typical home 3D printers. Following a process of SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) on industrial size printers, costing anything above £100k, the resulting mounts have fantastic resolution and refinement. The surface finish is slightly rough with a matte effect and the performance of the mounts are comparable to injection moulded parts.
