This is a 3D printed kit based on the SME FD200 Damper kit for the Early SME 3009 Series 2 / II improved arm

I've been printing Series III kits and got an early series II improved arm, this has the old dashpot jacket, the early arm rest and the early control arm, because of this the standard FD200 kit would not fit, unless you purchase the modified arm lift components.

I have offset the damper tank, so that the older style control arm lift does not interfere with the tank, along with widening it slightly, and removing the top cap, this gives additional clearance for the arm to be lifted over the arm rest without clashing with the inner walls of the tank

The kit comes complete with 3 off 3D printed paddles that are now resin printed, giving a much better finish, matching the lengths of the originals 7mm, 9mm and 13mm, these are held in place on the paddle clamp by the supplied thumbwheel screw, the clamp has been updated again to a resin 3d print.

Given the high prices that updating the mechanical components of your arm to suit the later dashpot, armrest and control arm, this kit in my opinion represents good value, and although 3D prints do not have the finished aesthetics of the original moulded parts, this kit will perform and function in the same manner as the original.
