This detent is at the 50% throttle position and intended to be used with space flight games.

This add-on functions by clipping the add-on detent base to your joystick and locking it into place with the locking pin. There is another piece that clips in underneath the throttle handle.

As you move the throttle from the 0 -> 100 position, the add-on piece that you clipped under the handle will slide over the detent base and 'click' on the detent at the 50% position.

This add-on kit clips right into place; no joystick modification or disassembly is needed.
