pre-Victorian, circa 1800. 7.6ins high, 7.1ins wide, 4.6ins depth. Tittensor(?) Staffordshire Pottery Prattware bocage cow creamer which features a cow and a calf, recumbent on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
CONDITION: Generally good.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base,
section of bocage reglued and joins retouched.
Hind left leg to calf with retouched hairline.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to cow's left front leg.
Cow's horns remodelled.
Calf's left ear remodelled.
Filled chips to leaves on ground and in bocage.
Remodelled stopper.
