A cheerful, energetic mood is the most important part of balloon twisting. Fortunately, it's easy to be cheerful when you watch kids smile as a career. To engage them, I don’t ask about school (grown-ups ALWAYS ask about school). I ask about their choice of balloon. When they ask for a pink bunny, I may compliment them on their choice of color and ask if they have ever seen a real pink bunny. I may do some play by play: "Now let’s make those big bunny ears, do you like big bunny ears, or do you like little bunny ears?" When creating a black balloon sword, I may say "Ooo, black is the color of ninjas, will this be a ninja sword?"  Etc. etc.

I create a dozen different animals, an assortment of hats, beautiful flowers, bracelets and the beloved balloon weaponry (swords, battle axes and even bow & arrow). For big events, I can bring my apprentices for an extra fee (my teenage kids twist too, but not quite up to Dad's level just yet).

30 minutes: $60

1 hour: $90

each additional hour: $60

Big events, traveling far from Madison, and adding a second balloon twister may cost an additional fee.
