a look at our store categories and merchandise.

You are bidding on:
Group of Fifteen Original
Vintage 2.25 x 2.75 Inch
Mounted Color Negatives
LONG BEACH NAVAL SHIPYARD
~ July 1974 ~

The color negative images you're seeing were taken
by Ralph Foster of Foster Air Photo back in 1974.
These are his original negatives. Each is mounted
or blocked within a paper frame as seen.

They show industrial machinery and operations
at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard, California.
Though Ralph Foster wasn't an artistic photographer,
these images have a certain mystique. Because I only
have paint.net software on my computer ~ I can't get
these negatives to reverse correctly to show the actual color...
but all the information is there for a photo lab (or someone
with better software) to create fine full color prints or images.

The 2.25 x 2.75" (image area) negatives have been protected
inside the envelope for all these years ~ filed away in a box.

Ralph Foster was a WWII pilot, and a famed
midget race car driver. In his later years he used
his piloting skills to combat forest fires, make archaelogical
expeditions to South America, and helped to map much of
the Orange County & Los Angeles County regions in aerial shots.

2.25" x 2.75" Negs in Excellent Condition
