SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 31 x 25 cm, 12 x 9.75 inches (medium) plus margins with a centre fold as issued.  

ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: Drawn by William Hughes.  William Hughes FRGS (1818 – 21 May 1876) was an English cartographer, engraver, lithographer, printer, and publisher active in London.

PROVENANCE: A detailed and attractive 19th century map which was produced by William Nightingale ... (1817-1876) for The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (London: Virtue & Co., 1868).

TYPE: Antique colour lithograph printed on paper.

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank.

CONDITION: Good. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. Virtually all antiquarian maps and prints are subject to some normal ageing due to use and time which is not significant unless otherwise stated.
