This product data sheet is originally written in English.

Exquisite 16th Century Renaissance Mannerist Gilt Bronze Jesus Christ Corpus Sculpture ! Highly influenced by Michelangelo. Composed of gilt bronze of Italian origin whom Giambologna and the dutch copied in style, so many if these corpuses are assumed to be Giambolgnas and his followers. The age of this little beauty between 1550 to 1600 and absolutely and directly influenced by Michelangelo and his mannerist movement, compare to other corpuses of Jesus Christ by Michelangelo to observe the similarities. Approximately 13.6 cm (5 5/16 inches) in height, from head top to tip toes, and approximately 13.3 cm (5 1/4 inches) in width from farthest hand edge to opposite hand edge. This is as close as a collector can get in the open market to owning an art work related or after Michelangelo in style for a small fraction of the cost. A very serious art subject which is great for meditation and contemplation, no other art work in my experience has such a powerful positive effect which is why the Catholics have always held on to such devotional art work. This particular Renaissance bronze came to me from England which in its best era was Catholic ! The "church" of England does not take full power till approximately a hundred years afterwards. Of English notables that were Catholic is Shakespeare, but due to powerful persecution of Catholics during that period he keeps his a Catholic faith a secret, for Queen Elizabeth herself was backed by the "church" of England and were actively involved in killing off as many Catholics as possible, which is why even today Shakespeare is portrayed as a none existing person! amazing how much the corrupt wish to deny truth and reality, no ?! Regardless of wether you think this bronze is Italian or Dutch the price I am setting is a true bargain, for it is a hundred percent Renaissance mannerist which borrows a tremendous lot from Michelangelo in style ! So grab this devotional historical beauty while it is available, a true historical museum quality art piece which you can own and display on you wall or on your table, guaranteed to have a positive affect and inspire all who view !
