One of a Kind Renaissance Silver Pieta Madonna w/ The Martyred Jesus Christ Circa 1600 Circle Giambologna ! This is the most beautiful and complete original Pieta from the Renaissance in a small silver sculpture. The furthest distance on the piece which is from the head top of the Christ to his toes is approximately 15 cm, and approximately 11 cm in height ( from the Madonna head top to the ground) at seated position. The silver is hollow cast, but still heavy! It is in great condition with no missing silver parts, intact for 400 years !!!! It is a miracle that this piece is in such good condition specially since it is made from a precious metal, silver. This much silver in 1600 was enough for the purchase of an entire farm! Jesus Christ is the Holylands first martyr (shaheed)! Jesus is wearing what is traditionally today an Arabian head dress (Keffiyeh), and with addition to his beard resembles the Islamic scholars of history, the keffiyeh was popular among Renaissance Italians! And lovely mother Maria is beautifully well dressed with a head shawl (a hijab), very similar to todays Muslims. For once upon a time true Jews and Christians had similar manners to todays Muslims. This beautiful sculpture represents a weeping mother with her beloved martyred son! Humanity has been blessed to have such amazing individuals that sacrificed themselves for the benefit of all of humanity by their righteous stand! And unfortunate due to a willing majority who simply stand by and pretend nothing is wrong! This art piece represents the heart and soul of the struggle between good and evil! All humans should stand united in the struggle against corruption so that we can collectively secure a better future with-out sacrificing or hurting one another and especially the innocent. Say no to corruption and yes to justice ! Please feel free to check out my other Renaissance Silver Old Masters Art Work !

My dear friends my asking price here is a gift, for it is very likely by non-other than our dear beloved Benvenuto Cellini,  at least the Jesus figure, but since I can only 100 percent confirm it is of the 16th century my asking price is only at 80 grand or best offer. Benvenuto Cellini was a great admirer of our beloved Michelangelo and most certainly carefully observed and studied Michelangelo's Pieta, of which this piece most certainly has been influenced by. This art piece was created by an artist that was exceptionally good at metallurgy and particularly silver, meaning that the artist was a gold smith and so was our beloved Benvenuto Cellini. If this piece was beyond a reasonable doubt, in other words having Benvenuto's signature the price would be in the millions. I am always ready to work with all museum experts to authenticate or validate any and all my fantastic art collection, so if your a qualified curator then please do not hesitate to contact me.
