Presented is an outstanding and exceedingly rare finely carved Brooch or Pin displaying a Victorian Woman with Dog

This is probably one of the finest hand carved brooches with some of the most amazing detail that I have ever seen.  If you can imagine that this pin was crafted by hand and carved during the 1800's with incredible detail and craftsmanship.  There is a Victorian woman portrayed in the center holding a whimsical pup.  She is elegantly dressed with her hair curls.  The scroll work around her is beyond comparison to other works.  I am fairly confident that you will hardly find a similar example.   The pin is VERY thin and almost translucent like at the tips.  It is that finely carved!!
