Extremely heavy, thick jug able to withstand a horse and wagon ride of those days! Baltimore City, at this time period was cobblestones streets with horse and wagon transportation. The model "T" was first offered in 1908 and wasn't available to the masses until the 1920's. Even through the 1920's...Most historic pictures of this time period shows a mixture of cars and horse and wagon within the city limits. I. Ulman & Sons (Spirits Exchange Dealer) at 310 Light St. was in business here from 1905 to 1919. Only 14 years!
