DATE PRINTED: 1785, dated on the print. 

SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 9 x 17.5 cm, 3.5 x 7 inches (small) plus margins. 

PROVENANCE:   An original antique, copper-engraved map by Capt. Daniel Paterson, published in 1785 by Carrington Bowles in ‘Paterson’s BRITISH ITINERARY being a new and accurate Delineation and Description of the Direct and Principal Cross Roads of Great Britain’.

TYPE: Antique copper plate engraving printed on paper.

VERSO: There is another map printed on the reverse side.
