After the impression is made by your Kingsley machine, these two springs pull the ram bar/printhead back to the top position. Are they broken, weak or rusted on your Kingsley?

Here is your replacement set, along with installation instructions:

• A brand new set of steel springs plus two steel replacement Phillips head screws.

• Each end of each spring is different.

• The round loop on one end is in the middle of the spring (looking from the end) so it can be attached to the printhead eyelet at the bottom. Attach this loop first. With a needle-nosed pliers, open the loop up a little to insert through the eyelet and then compress it back up again.

• The round loop at the other end is compressed to the side so it will work better up against the top of housing with the supplied screw. Installation is easier with the Phillips head screws because the screwdriver stays into the screw better. Simply insert screwdriver into the screw, then insert the screw through the loop, then push the screw against the housing and work it upward into the screw hole and screw in tightly.

• One more step: use a medium flat head screwdriver to gently push down the top of the spring on each side to keep it from bulging out. Do this very carefully.
