The prayer mat can recognise and respond to specific prayer positions thanks to the touch sensitive pads.
When someone lays both feet on the prayer mat, the sensors in My Salah Mat detect the pressure and the first action of the Muslim prayer (Allahu Akbar) is heard, followed by Surah Fatiha. When the knees, hands, and head make contact with the correct spots on the mat, the sound associated with that segment of the prayer is heard.
