DVD V7400
Industrial DVD Player
Video Media Player: Karaoke POS Laser Barcode Kiosk

Item is very clean and in very good used condition. It has been tested and works as it should. It is extremely versatile and durable. It is still reviewed as one of the best DVD players/ CD Video media players out there.
The level knob on the front is missing but can still be easily adjusted. Power cord had some fraying at the exit point of the unit and was taped up. Fraying was only to the outer jacket with damage to the wires.

Expanded Features of the DVD-V7400

One of the leading features of Pioneer's DVD-V7400 is its component video output capability (Y, C-R, C-B) with BNC terminals, for applications that require content with high-end video output. Component video gives the professional user full access to the superior video quality of DVD, and the three separate terminals allow for connection to professional and broadcast video monitors, as well as to advanced display systems like plasma panels and video walls.

Audio features have been expanded in the DVD-V7400, which supports digital audio out in the Digital Theater Systems (DTS) format, in addition to the Pulse Coded Modulation (PCM) and Dolby Digital audio formats.

Pioneer's DVD-V7400 also features both NTSC and PAL video playback. An NTSC or PAL external black burst sync signal can be applied through the EXT SYNC IN terminals to enable clean switching between multiple DVD players and other video sources. The players are also rack mountable for multiple player installations.

New User Features

For added flexibility, the timer memory in the DVD-V7400 has been expanded to accommodate up to 24 events per week during any combination of selected days. Users can distribute the commands throughout the week as required by their specific application. The expanded event function is ideal for broadcast applications that rotate their information frequently and are required to power on/self-start. Well-suited for professional applications - particularly interactive displays and individual workstations, the DVD-V7400 player is ideal for touchscreen applications where users select on-screen buttons designed into DVD-Video programs for broadcast, airport, kiosk and other industry installations.

The DVD-V7400 is able to track user selections and store the data in the player's non-volatile Flash RAM memory. The user data can then be retrieved to evaluate user selections and preferences. This function plays a valuable role in a variety of training, in-store display, kiosk, and point-of-purchase applications.

The list of disc media that can be read by the DVD-V7400 also has expanded. Pioneer's second generation player now reads conventional CD-R discs in addition to DVD-R and CD-RW discs.

Pioneer's new DVD-V7400 maintains many of the unique capabilities of the first generation product. The player's suite of features, which include mouse and keyboard control; frame search capability; video blackboard functions and DVD barcode/LaserDisc barcode compatibility, work together to form a powerhouse of an industrial player. Developers, systems integrators and end users did not have to "trade" one set of important features for another. The DVD-V7400 is truly an enhanced version of its predecessor.
