These beautiful shabby chic paperweights use the magic of light dancing on glass to enhance dainty yellow roses on a blue, ivory and gold floral background. They would make perfect desk accessories for the vintage or Victorian office of a lady or could be gifted as love or thank you tokens to a wife, mother, daughter, friend or teacher.

These unique paperweights have been hand-crafted with double decoupage, first with reverse decoupage techniques to show the composed picture through the glass, and a second time to form the backing. Both layers of decoupage are separated by several layers of paint. Rice paper and paper napkins have been used for the main picture and a lovely handmade paper in cream and antique gold has been used for the back and then varnished several times.
