Mattina is an Italian visual artist and character designer. His attention to detail and cinematic approach has made him a fan favorite. He's created covers for Marvel and DC: Spider-Man 2099, Venom, Suicide Squad, Hellbound, Deathstroke, Azrael, and Batman. He has created promotional materials for blockbuster movies including Guardians of The Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Mattina is currently the lead cover artist for Todd McFarlane's Spawn. He is a Professor of Comics Illustration at the International School of Comics in Turin and a well respected and widely collected traditional artist.
