Stereo-Rama 2 With built in "Vintage Tone" Selector- Silver with Right Angle Plug

Following on from our Stereo-Rama Adaptor is our newly designed Stereo-Rama 2 with 'Vintage Tone "

Add "Vintage Tone" to your Rickenbacker stereo bass or guitar without any modifications.

Back in the Sixties and early Seventies, many Stereo Equipped Rickenbacker guitars and basses had a capacitor in series with the bridge pickup, which gave the bridge pickup less bass and on a bass guitar resulted in the "clanky" sound made famous by the prog rock bands. On a six or twelve guitar it helped balance the pickups resulting in a wider tonal range across the pickups. (from a thin jangly bridge sound to the full tone of the neck pickup.

Rickenbacker re- introduced this as a switchable feature on some bass guitars in 2006.
