Larimar, also called "Stefilia's Stone", is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. Its coloration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue.

This beautiful specimen has been cut to show two sides in a cabochon finish with one side and beautiful aqua blue white and teal.

The second side has green and blue with A moss pattern

This is a rare mineral that has been used in jewelry and some of the biggest jewelry houses in the world.

This is relatively unheard-of as it is hard to come by especially in such fine quality.

At 10.25 carat this is a large specimen of the highest quality

19.50 x 13.40 x 3.75 mm

This would make a beautiful pendant , ring or bracelet.

This is 100% natural and just straight from the earth.

This silky gemstone has a Luster called a chatoyant luster. So what does this mean? Silky gemstones when viewed closely almost have a movement in their micro fibres which we call a chatoyant luster.

This natural blue colour truly does look like the oceans of the Caribbean Beaches.
