Any items that weigh over 1 pound will cost at least $8.85 to ship. I do not add any overage to our shipping prices. The amount the ebay calculator calculates is based on the weight of the item plus the packing materials to keep it safe during its journey to you. Ebay also calculates the price based on the distance the item has to travel.

I have sold one of these already so I know the weight of the entire package once it is ready to be shipped.  That price will be reflected in the shipping price that ebay calculates based on that weight and distance.
