The Austria 10 Kronen is part of the family of notes which was issued by the Astro-Hungarian Bank in 1918 as provisional issues. The banknotes front side is presented in German text and has a red DEUTSCHOSTERREICH'' overprint, the national emblem of Austria, and the denomination in 8 different languages. The banknotes obverse also features a portrait of a young boy. The reverse of the paper bill is in Hungarian text and displays the Coat of Arms of Hungary. A young mans face is also shown on the right. The 151 x 79 mm banknote bears a red X in a lattice pattern as its watermark. This particular Austria 10 Kroner is in uncirculated condition and is authenticated.
