Original Soviet Order – Patriotic War WWII – 2nd class.  Type 3. Awarded both to officers and men of the Soviet Army and Navy on the 40th Anniversary of the Victory over Germany in 1985.  Original Soviet 100% Solid Silver 999” gilt, with Hot Baked Ruby Enamels. Riveted 1-piece construction; the serial number is engraved with a rotating tool. Sub-variation featuring very distinctive conical upper rivets. This piece is from the first Moscow Jewelry Factory series manufactured in 1985. In excellent condition. In excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect, no wear of any kind visible to the unaided eye. The enamel retains beautiful luster throughout. Shows attractive even toning to the reverse.
