c.1933 “Geographia” Pictorial Plan of London in Original  A1 Guide and Atlas to London

A 3-D style folding three-colour plan of London showing historical and tourist buildings marked, together with railway line and Underground stations. It also has inset boxes with reduced sized maps showing cinemas and theatres. Undated, however it would appear to be 1933 - Lambeth Bridge had just been completed (and it shows an illustration of the new bridged patched into the map), Dover Street Underground station has been renamed Green Park, but the area around Battersea Power Station (completed in 1934) is shown as a construction site. Affixed into original “A1 Guide and Atlas to London and Suburbs” by Geographia, comprising 80pp street plans and 91pp street index and original salmon thin card covers.

Map approx. 750x508mm when folded-out, several light reinforcements to the reverse along split folds, overall in good condition.
