This is a delightful English Christmas plate. It is a MASON'S plate for Christmas 1975. It is heavily embellished with a rich cobalt blue, brown, pink, green, blue ,red and peach pattern around the edge. The centre of the place features a brown picture of Windsor Castle. There are guilded birds around the edge. Such a pretty plate and it is good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing with no wear to the decoration.It is marked Christmas 1975. The first of a series of plates specially  produced to celebrate Christmas. MASDON'S. Patent ironstone made in England. Windsor Castle.It bears the remains of the David Jones Store sticker on the reverse. It has a diameter of 25cm(almost 10"). Such a pretty plate to own and display.
