Amazing high resolution poster print of the Trinity Test, the first ever detonation of an atomic bomb. Taken just 0.025 seconds after the nuclear explosion the fireball is already about 660ft (200m) high. The culmination of the massive US United States Manhattan Project project during World War 2, this bomb informally called "The Gadget" exploded in New Mexico on July 16, 1945 and was the same plutonium implosion-design as the the Fat Man bomb later detonated over Nagasaki, Japan, on August 9, 1945 just weeks later. A sobering reminder of the sheer power of nuclear weapons and their threat to humanity which remains to this day.

Great wall art home house decor for anyone interested in WW2 WWII history, big huge extra large XL poster photograph prints, nuclear war, physics, etc.
