This is from the "Original Painting" on Wood of Roy and Trigger. Roy & Trigger, were OUR friends and every Saturday morning we would ride the range with Roy saving people and showing children of all ages, the TRUE Family Values of America. Roy adopted an entire generation of children, and I was one of them. At age 5 yrs. old, I adopted Roy Rogers over my alcoholic father. My dream was to someday have a horse like Roy Rogers and save people like Roy.
I give my ROLE MODELS, Roy & Dale, credit for the "Traditional VALUES" I have today and throughout my entire life. I do have a horse named Trigger. I thought he was a Palomino. When Trigger was born, he was a light tan color with white socks. AS he grew up, the tan disappeared and he was all white with 2 blue eyes. My Trigger turned out to be an Albino colt. I kept his name, Trigger, just because!
