Cut piece of multicolored striped Plissé fabric.  Plisse has been around for a long time and has traditionally be used in lightweight clothing, like blouses, dresses and sometimes underwear, it was originally made of cotton or silk, but is also made of sythetics and blends.  Plissé is a fabric with a crinkled or pleated striped texture created by applying a solution that shrinks part of the fabric, leaving it puckered. It has a stretchy sense to it and can be used in many applications. 

This piece has a variagated stripe in Coral, Aqua, Peach, Beige and two shades of light Pink.  There are 1 1/4" stripes in Coral, Aqua and Beige, the two shades of pink are 1/2" and 3/4" wide and there are 1/4 inch stripes in Peach and Coral.    The total pattern repeat is 6.25 inches.  This is a piece of yard goods and has a cut edge on both ends.  It is about 1 7/8 yard and is about 42 inches in width.
