For  your consideration is a great piece of local (to me) history.  The 1894 Springfield, Ma Park Commissioners' report.  An excellent publication featuring lots of photographs and details like bird counts of certain species in Forest Park, tree info, even down to the hourly wages for employees working in the park.  About 40 pages (estimate, as they're not numbers), dimensions are 6.5"x9".  Original green clothbound hardcover with gold gilt lettering.  A surprising amount of photos for a parks report.

Excellent condition for its age.  The majority of wear is on the edges of the cover as shown in the photos.  The pages are fairly bright, the spine feels as good as new, etc.  Please see photos.  I am a bibliophile and a local treasure digger and have never seen a Springfield parks report for any year, let alone this one.
