This is an Antique Corset Vase.

This is 9-1/4" tall by 5-3/4" wide top rim, by 3-3/4" base.

It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915). the florals tend to be from the later half of the period which is a little over 100 years old now!

This has the cut scalloped indent cut rim, the curled fanned rim is amazing executed with miters cut under the sides for bling.  There is a floral motif of a thistle or dahlia cut on each sides with lots of clear wedge leaves.  rayed star bottom with scalloped cut edge foot.

This piece looks like a pairpoint vase to me in shape and motif, but I was never able to identify the maker for sure- this has been in my collection for more years than I can remember.

Condition: Condition: this is pre-owned and old, it has a tiny fleabite in the top rim that no one will notice but I felt during inspection with my finger..  no noticeable chips or cracks.  It  is not clouded or crizzled so the blank itself is good too, nice clarity and quality
