What is Dill? 

The Dill plant provides green leaves for the Dill herb, while the flat, oval fruits make the Dill seed spice. It's an annual herb related to celery that tends to replant itself and spread, which is good to know if you're considering planting it. Dill seeds are used in seasoning, such as in pickles. Like, Chervil, Dill weed is delicate and works particularly well with eggs or in salads. 

Where does Dill Come From? 

Dill is native to Southern Russia, Western Africa, and the Mediterranean. It is part of the Umbelliferae family, which also includes Cumin and Parsley. 

Entirely Ingredients Dill? 

Our Chopped Dill is food grade and selected for the highest quality. Our Dill grows up to 40 - 60 cm (16 - 24 in), with slender hollow stems and alternate, finely divided, softly delicate leaves 10 - 20 cm (3.9 - 7.9 in) long. The ultimate leaf divisions are 1 - 2 mm (0.039 - 0.079 in) broad, slightly broader than the similar leaves of Fennel, which are threadlike, less that 1 mm (0.039 in) broad, but harder in texture. The flowers are white to yellow, in small umbels 2 - 9 cm (0.79 - 3.54 in) diameter. The seeds are 4 - 5 mm (0.16 - 0.20 in) long and 1 mm (0.039 in) thick, and straight to slight curved with a longitudinally ridged surface. Dried rubber tips.

We use Royal Mail and Fedex to deliver all our orders. Orders 4kg or under will be delivered by Royal Mail 48 or Royal Mail 48 Tracked. All orders over 4kg will be delivered by Fedex Next Day courier service. All orders are processed within 1 working day and will usually be delivered within 2-3 days after an order is placed. Express delivery options are available and can be requested during eBay checkout. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery, especially during busy periods and if you have not received your order, please contact our support team who will be able to track your order or resend it if required.
