Rickenbacker no longer market their excellent "Compressed Round Wound" strings, so we have sourced our own brand from the same factory in the USA. Apart from the packaging they are exactly the same as the strings we have grown to love.

Compressed Round Wound strings are are half way house between Round Wound and Flat Wound but retaining the full tone of Round Wound strings.

IF YOU USE 'COMPRESSED ROUND WOUND' THEN YOU NEED THESE, AS THE RICKENBACKER RED PACKS ARE REGULAR 'ROUND WOUND' IT SAYS SO ON THE LABELS DESPITE WHAT OTHER SELLERS WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE.
