The Afghanistan 2 Afghani banknote is part of the banknote series issued in 2002, on the anniversary of the start of the bombing which caused the Taliban regime to fall. This banknote in uncirculated condition features the seal of Da Afghanistan Bank presenting horsemen, cornucopia, and ancient coins. On the reverse of the note is the Victory Arch in PAghman Gardens which is near the countrys capital and largest city Kabul. This 131 x 55 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread and a watermark showing the Mausoleum of Mirwais Khan Hotaki.
