Description
- MADE IN JAPAN
- This incense burner holder is a traditional craft made in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Takaoka occupies more than 90% of Japan's copperware market share and is famous as a casting town.
- QUAINT COLOR
- Color with the depth of the incense burner holder is derived by chemically reacting the surface of copper of material, by the traditional method of Takaoka. It is not coating. *Coloring is manual and may differ slightly from the photo.
- USE AS INCENSE BURNER
- When using it as an incense burner holder, put about 80% of "incense burner ash" in it. "incense burner ash" is also sold as "White Ash" on Amazon. Use the stick-shaped incense sticks upright. Incense cones and incense coil are used by placing them on ashes. If you keep the lid open during combustion, the back side of the lid will not get dirty and you can save the trouble of cleaning.
- HOME DECORATION
- The traditional Japanese craft incense burner is a wonderful decorative art piece. As a quaint Japanese style decor, it can be used as a decoration for the entrance, living room, study, bedroom, bookshelf, fireplace, display shelf, etc. Also as an artistic statue to decorate offices, restaurants, hotels, etc. Also, as an aesthetic container for storing something important, as a wonderful piece of copper sculpture. Please add it to your collection of handicrafts.
- KOI FISH
- It represents japanese carps climbing up a waterfall. On the lid is a statue of a koi carp fish that jumps vigorously. The relief of the two japanese koi fishes seen from between the waterfalls is very unique.
It is 7.1 inches (18 cm) high, 5.9 inches (15 cm) wide, and 4.4 inches (11.3 cm) depth, and can be used as an interior decoration to create a Zen atmosphere. It also makes a great gift for people who have Nishikigoi or who love fish. - MAINTENANCE
- To clean it, just wipe it with a soft and dry cloth. Then, the color and luster will get better and better. To prevent patina from appearing on the copperware, avoid exposing it to moisture and salt.
