Nice quality replacement at a fair price. It will fit right in place of the original tank without any problems because all Fords from 1953 to 64 have the same mounting hole spacing. It is made of STEEL and is painted silver. It has 2 (two) outlets on the bottom one for the 1953-54 models and one in the center for the 55 and up models comes with a plug to plug the hole not needed for your use. Note there is NO gas gauge hole in this tank for a sending unit.  PAYPAL SHIPS ASAP  MICHIGAN BUYERS ADD 6% SALES TAX (unless you are exempt) because of the rise in shipping cost basic ground shipping is $29.00 in the CONTINENTAL USA..... If REPLACING A 10 INCH DEEP TANK on a /801/901/400 4 cylinder  3 different tanks could have been used, flat front or tapered front , 8 inch or 10 inch deep or diesel. YOU will need to put your OWN fittings on for diesel  (NLA no longer available) you could have the tapered front 10 inch deep (NLA) or  8 INCH DEEP FLAT FRONT WITCH THIS IS the only tank available new that will work. BUT IT WILL NEED a 1 1/2 TO 2 INCH SPACER UNDER THE TANK we use square tubing others use 1 1/2 wood (or a std. 2 x 2) from the store. Some people lengthened the legs on the tank brackets. This is to keep the flange on the gas tank from hitting the flange on the underside of the hood. No adjustments to the tank are needed but the brackets may needed to be modified.....NOTE  WE DO NOT JUST SELL PARTS ON LINE I REALLY DO WORK ON TRACTORS IN MY SHOP AND HAVE MY OWN MACHINES TO DO MOST ENGINE MACHINING AND METAL
