The Product:

This is a Red Cream Core Mount not Frame. The Surface colour is Red also referred to as Poppy Red, and has a smooth finish.
What are the main features of the Standard Cream Core?
· Soft, easy to bevel cream core.
· Very cost effective for all non-conservation framing requirements.
· Neutral pH specification
· 1250-micron thickness (1.25mm)
This is standard 14-play matboard that has been buffered, which means the centre and the backing paper have been treated with calcium to neutralize pH level, with enough left over to provide an alkaline reserve, to help protect against future acid problems. But, because buffering delays but does not prevent deterioration, this board is not suitable for conservation framing and is intended for use of decorative arts only. These boards have an off-white core cream core that will eventually darken.

All our Mounts are made and cut in UK by our professional picture framer’s. We cut all sizes from a 32”x42” board (813x1200mm) with our computer mount board cutter.
The board has specialist coatings are water based, fully recyclable and compostable, and contain no metallic pigments or plastic. All base papers and boards are from renewable sources or post-consumer recycled waste, and Forest Stewardship Council® certified.

Sizes/Measurements:

Please message us in ebay with your requirements we will quote you and if you are happy we will add your size to the pull down menu for you to select.

To obtain your measurements: -

1. Please measure the width and length of the picture/photo you intend to mount. This is your internal mount size. * Please note we cut all our mount openings 2mm smaller all around to enable you to easily attach your artwork/photo to it.

2. If you already have a picture frame you intend to insert your picture and mount in, please measure your frame (the opening at the back, not the glass at the front). This is your external mount size.

*We can cut openings to exact size on request.

For example, if you have a picture which measures 3x3" and a picture frame opening of 5x5" then you should order size 5x5" to fit 3x3".

We cut on a computer mount cutter that is calibrated using a calibrated metal ruler, and cut to order. There will be over-cuts on the back that can be smoothed out.
We accept a tolerance of 0.5mm we check weekly.
Please be aware there are different types of measuring devises in the home and work, a ruler, a retractable tape measure, a seamstress tape measure and a lazer measure, these devises can be out of calibration by up to 3mm.
We are happy to cut to custom sizes, we would ask you to select the size larger than you require and send us a message with your order and in eBay after you have ordered with the exact size you require. We do not accept returns for custom or personalized orders.

Please note the colour of our mounts in our pictures can vary on different devises due to resolution settings on your monitor / phone.

We have 10 colours available with cream core.
Red comes as standard but, Antique White, Ivory, Pure White, Black, Dark Blue, Light/ Green Grey, Green and Brown/Sepia mount boards are also available in our eBay shop and other listings.
We provide a 3x3” 76x76mm sample for £2.99 so that if you want to colour match or confirm the colour or shade.

We record all our product being made and packed to make sure our quality and standards remain as high as possible.

Assembly

Once received your picture/photo/print should be taped to the rear of the mount using tape (not supplied). If you have a valuable print photo you might want to consider using acid free tape.

We accept all methods of payment through eBay manage payments, this means all your payment are to eBay not us. Any payment queries need to be directed to eBay. As soon as your payment is cleared, you can rest assured your order will be dispatched by the time period stated on the listing. For your security we only dispatch your order to the address you provide us via eBay.

As soon as you pay, eBay will email you to let you know it's been received and as soon as we've shipped your order, we'll let you know by email that it has been dispatched and the tracking number will be uploaded to your eBay order for you to view in your purchase history.

All our boards are supplied flat packed.

Free Postage:

If you select the free postage option, we will send your items if you have selected the 9x11” or smaller via RM48 LL (Royal Mail 48hr Large Letter) which is 2 to 5 day working days delivery time. This comes with proof off postage and proof off delivery only and is not a fully tracked service.

If you have selected the 10x10” or larger up to 16x20” via RM48 Parcels (Royal Mail 48hr Parcel) which is 2 to 5 day working days delivery time. This come with proof off postage and proof off delivery only and is not a fully tracked service.

If you have selected larger than 16x20” your parcel will be sent either DHL or DPD standard with is a 1-2 day fully tracked service.

Addition postage options:

For addition charge we will send an item full tracked or guaranteed 24hr please see the postage option in the checkout. We use  DHL or Royal Mail for this service depending on weight and size.

There are additional charges for Scotland, Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands.

For international orders we use e-Bays Global Shipping Program. For customers purchasing from sites other than our UK site, we would ask that you kindly message us to confirm you have placed an international order. This assists us in ensuring your item is wrapped and packed specific to that shipping method.

If your order has not turned up by the delivery period provided, please check your order on eBay as every item sent will have a tracking number uploaded onto eBay. This will provide you with updates and the courier. Royal mail services will only update if a delivery has been attempted. However, we have had issues with Royal mail not leaving a card or updating their delivery attempt, which can mean you parcel could be waiting at your local depot for collection so you may have to take the tracking number and id there to collect.

All Other services should give you tracking and a time window for delivery including text updates.
