Here we have a NEW heavy duty gasket/seal set for various SEIKO "45" Series watches. Mainly from the KING SEIKO and GRAND SEIKO Range.

This is for the "Type II" or SEIKO F3 style case, which is a standard style case including screw back, with the 300V "bonded ring" style glass.

There is NO CROWN SEAL included in this kit as the crown for these models is a Swiss style crown with pressed in seal. I don't currently have an easy solution to repack these crowns.

Included in the kit are replacements for the following -

1 x EC2818 "L" Crystal Seal
1 x FH2980 Flat Caseback Seal

The crystal seal is the correct style "upside down L" shape seal and is sandwiched between the bonded ring of the V style crystal and the case.

The seals are made from high quality EPDM synthetic elastomer. EPDM will vastly outlast the original black nitrile seals for this model and should last the life of the watch assuming they aren't damaged or worn by dirt or contamination. In addition to this, it performs better in sub zero and tropical conditions.

The seals will pass a pressure test to the indicated water resistance for this model, assuming the seals are fitted correctly, the correct crown and pushers are fitted, the correct crystal is fitted and there is no corrosion in the case. I test on a Witschi ALC-2000 dry pressure tester.

The crown seals may not fit aftermarket pushers and crowns. They are often not made to the original spec and use a smaller seal. They can be modified in a lathe to work, but I'll assume you know what you are looking for.

Please also double check your watch has the correct caseback, as many have been swapped over the years and if it is wrong, I may send you the wrong seal kit.

I now have two postage options. The free post is tracked DHL eCommerce worldwide. The optional post is tracked DHL Express worldwide (approx 3-7 days). I do not offer local pickup.

Combining shipments is no problem. You can put the items you need in the cart, purchase them and request a total.
