 We offer MICKY OF THE ALLEY and Other Youngsters. Written by Kate Dickinson Sweetser (1870-1939) an author of childrens' fiction and also a cousin of Poet Emily Dickinson. Illustrated by George Alfred Williams (1875-1932) a well known artist and illustrator of his time. 1st Edition. Published D. Appleton & Co., NY, 1903.
      Contains 6 short stories. One is about a Millinery (Hat) business: The Millinery Opening.
     
Early hardcover with pictorial covers. 176 pp. w 6 pp. book ads at the rear. Book measures 5-1/2 x 7-3/4 inches. Spine lettering rubbed. light soiling on the white binding. Name and 1905 date on front free endpaper. O/w clean and bright within. Overall in near very good condition.
