Label states: "Warning: Do not use this head harness for fire fighting or when exposure to high heat or flame is possible. This head harness contains materials which may melt or burn when exposed to flame or radiant heat."

However, my experience is that these are commonly worn with a Nomex/Flame Resistant Material hood over them before entering a structure when used for firefighting.

They can also be a very versatile and invaluable piece of PPE/Safety Equipment to protect your face, eyes, nose, and mouth while cutting, grinding, sanding, or demo any inner of materials. Especially when fitted with some type of filtering material when covering the opening.

Any one that knows me would say I am passionate about tools. When I offer tools to my fellow eBayers, it's usually because I have upgraded and not because the tool has in any way disappointed me. And, trust me, if the tool was in my personal collection, then it was reliable. If a tool fails me, I do not offer it to my eBay community, but rather disassemble it & recycle the parts, rather than allow a less than reliable tool end up in the hands of anyone else. I also often come into possession of tools that are of a quality that I would be happy to add to my collection, but that I don't necessarily need. In that case, I will offer them here to my eBay community. Rest assured, if I am offering a tool, it is a quality tool that I would be more than happy to use myself and it will serve you well. When I come across a VINTAGE TOOL, it may not be perfect and might be in need of a minor repair, but, again, you can rest assured that it has served well and will continue to serve well for a long time to come with proper care. And, it will LOOK GOOD & CLASSIC in your shop.
