    Additional Information:

    This power steering pump is designed for the professional installer. It does not come with any installation instructions. If you do not have a service manual, please consult a professional mechanic prior to installing this kit or follow the steps below.

     

    Steps to Replacing the Power Steering Pump:

    Step 1: Disconnect the vehicle's battery, and then lift the vehicle.

    Step 2: Remove the engine cover , ancillary parts, the serpentine belt (drive belt), lower engine covers, the radiator fan shroud and the fan step by step.

    Step 3: Disconnect lines going into power steering pump and Let power steering fluid drain.

    Step 4:Remove the mounting bolt underneath the power steering pump, and then remove the additional hydraulic lines from the power steering pump.

    Step 5: Remove the power steering pump pulley and mounting bolts, and then transfer the mounting bracket from the old pump to the new pump.

    Step 6: Install the new power steering pump, pulley and belt, and secure pump to engine block.

    Step 7: Install new pulley using the pulley installation tool.

    Step 8: Reinstall remaining parts

    Step 9: Fill power steering fluid reservoir

    Step 10: Clean up underneath vehicle, and then reconnect battery cables.
