The Sidestrike is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2014 under the Zombie Strike series. It came packaged with a blaster holster, six Zombie Strike Darts, and instructions  (GUN ONLY - no darts or accessories included in this sale). The Sidestrike is a single-fire blaster. It was advertised as being a "quick-draw" blaster, meant to be used with its included holster accessory. It will slot into this holster either way without problem. Two additional darts can be stored underneath the muzzle. It has a tactical rail on the bottom, as well as a sling point built into the grip. The Sidestrike was known as the Scout Mk. II in development. The Sidestrike was unveiled for the first time alongside the remainder of the 2014 Zombie Strike line at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con. This early iteration featured nearly the same exact design as the final production blaster, with the exception of some minor paint alterations. On September 19, 2014, the Sidestrike was re-released as an N-Strike Elite blaster, being exclusive to the Sidestrike 2-Pack. In 2018, the Sidestrike was re-released under the AccuStrike Series as the TalonStrike.
