Up for sale is our brand new Probe Holders from BRC Aquatics. We offer models for either a single probe or dual probes. Each probe holder comes with an interior and exterior magnet (dual magnet version comes with 2 interior and 2 exterior), both magnets are plastic coated N52 and are rated saltwater safe by the manufacturer. No cheap epoxy coating that chips off easily, and with a full N52 rating you wont find stronger magnets.
These are designed using 19mm (3/4") probe holes, so you can fit any probe in any of the holes. I also added 2 RODI/Silicone tubing holders on each side and 2 holes for 3/16" hard line (only available on the dual probe holder), in case you use hard line as a pick-up tube for testers like the Neptune Trident, GHL KH/ION Director, KH Guardian or other devices. Every probe holder comes with 1 or 2 of our 3D Printed PETG screws already installed. The screws are printed a little small so that they don't gum up like some other thumb screw accessories on the market.
Printed out of PETG filament to be incredibly strong. PETG is a commonly used 3D printing filament for items destined to be in aquariums as it is generally considered "Reef Safe" by leading experts. PET is most commonly found in plastic water bottles and is recyclable. However due to the nature of PETG, there may be some left over strings or "hairs" of filaments. We try our best to limit the stringing and how much goes out the door, however sometimes some small strings may be overlooked.
Currently only printing in black, if you'd like another color, please shoot me a message and we can print some. These are printed to order, so please allow a little extra time for this. Custom colors can be done on orders of 2+
Magnets are rated for 3/8" glass and below, and may be fine on thicker glass depending on how much you load the trap. Doubled strength magnets available upon request.
If you are unhappy with the product after receiving it, returns are accepted. Please note that this is a 3D printed item and may show layer lines or slight imperfects as the nature of the manufacture.
