Wonderful antique print of James McNeill Whistler’s “Street at Saverne”.  After visiting the Alsatian town during the summer-fall tour in 1858, Whistler created this image of a lone figure walking down a dark street in Severn lit up by just a few bright stars and a long gas lantern hanging at the right and casting deep shadows.  This print from the early 20th century (1903) printed by The Studio is in very good antique condition and as seen in the pics.  It will make an excellent addition to any Whistler print collection so don’t let this one get away!
