Wireless Remote Adapter for Nakamichi tape decks

700, 700MkII, 1000 and 1000MkII Tri-Tracer

For the 700 ZXL, 1000 ZXL use my standard Wireless RM-580
This unit is basically the same as my wireless RM-580 that I've sold over 240 of, but, the 8 pin DIN connector is changed to a 7 pin DIN for the 700/1000 decks and no adapter cable is needed. Since the 700/1000 do not provide power to the remote receiver an AC adapter is required and included.

Please be aware that I make each remote adapter custom when the order comes in. It could take up to about 10 business days before it ships.

I've been making wireless remote adapters since 2006 with more than 1500 units shipped worldwide. I am an electrical engineer and started making unit for Nakamichi cassette decks for people on the NakTalk email list. Over the years my customers have asked me to make similar units for other models and brands of audio gear. I now make over 17 models of remote adapters for 10 different brands (Aiwa, Akai, Alesis, Ampex, Crown, Denon, Nakamichi, Otari, Revox, Sony, Studer, Tandberg, Tascam, Teac and Technics). I typically sell through eBay, but, low volume models are only sold direct. If you don't see a remote adapter for your equipment ask me, I might have one already.

This unit works just like the Nakamichi Tri-Tracer wired remote controller. It plugs into the 7 pin DIN connector on the back of the deck and allows the 6 standard transport functions (play, stop, pause, record, fast forward and rewind) to be controlled from across the room.

This unit can be controlled by any universal remote that can be programmed to control a Sony VCR (either Beta, VHS or 8mm). Just set it for one of the Sony VCR button codes.

Includes the remote receiver box, AC adapter and a universal remote with batteries and programmed to work with the remote receiver so you can be up and running in minutes.

This unit can be programmed, via a set of internal jumpers, to 1 of 4 remote codes (Sony VHS, Sony Beta, Sony 8mm and Sony Laser Disc Player). This allows multiple units to reside in the same room and be independently controlled.
