For sale is a limited edition enamel box, manufactured by Halcyon Days to commemorate the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The lid is decorated with a profile portrait of the Monarch surrounded by gilded thistles & roses(see pic.2). Around the sides is a band of leaf motifs(see pic.3). The box is titled to the underside of the lid(see pic.5) and to the inner base images of medals(see pic.6). The box measures a little under 2 1/2"(6.5cms) long, a little over 1 7/8"(a little under 5cms) across & a little over 5/8"(a little under 1.75cms) tall. It is from a limited edition of 500, this being number 271. The box is fully backstamped(see pic.7), in great condition, being free from any damage or wear and comes complete with it's original presentation box and leaflet(see pics.8 & 9).
