Vintage David Copperfield by Charles Dickens Abridged & Edited for Schools 1953

I have a book that my mum held onto for many years, she passed away during Covid aged 94 and asked me to find new homes for her wares, I am now trying to keep my promise.

It is The Personal History and Experience of David Copperfield The Younger by Charles Dickens

It is Abridged and Edited for Schools by H A Tremble, M.A. 

It was published by

MacMillan and Co, Ltd, St Martin’s Street, London dated 1953

The book has obviously been borrowed from West Calder High School Library and not returned.  The date it was borrowed was 28^th August 1954 so I am unsure of the fees that will be owed on the book now. 

It has a hard cover and is in extremely good condition for its age.  I cannot see any turned up corners

Please bear in mind that books of this age can have light corner bumping, minor page creasing, foxing & page yellowing.
